Everything we do at Aardvark is driven by the feedback we get from you, our users. We believe that by combining our vision for Aardvark with the ideas and opinions of our community, we’ll be able to build a service that can truly change the landscape for how people find information and connect with each other.
(Read more about our user-driven development processes here and here)
Every week, we talk with hundreds of our users about their ideas for Aardvark — through in-person user interviews, usability studies, and oodles of great email sent to feedback@vark.com. We respond to every message; and the whole Aardvark team gathers weekly to summarize and discuss everything we have learned during the week.
While this process has been invaluable for us in learning how to evolve Aardvark, it hasn’t allowed for everyone in the community to see what everyone else is saying: there is a huge amount of enthusiasm about Aardvark and the process of making it better, but there hasn’t been a common public place to share this experience with others.
So now we’ve created a Community Forum. It’s a place where you can add your ideas for new features, point out issues that should be addressed, suggest new directions for Aardvark, or comment on anything else you’d like to see in the product. You can see all the ideas that others have suggested too, and vote your favorites to the top.
We’ve had the forum turned on for less than a week, and already there have been about a thousand votes for diverse and interesting ideas!
We are grateful for all this input… and much looking forward to continuing the discussion…

Is there a way to have my url included in my twitter updates when I answer a question?
I love the 1,2,3 voting system. Did you create this all in-house, or is there something open-source at its core (beyond the DB and JS libraries)?
